no need to be a d1ck. i was simply trying to let people know that a n20 tank is not going to catch fire in your trunk. there is a common misconception that nitrous is extremely flammable/explosive when the fact is it isn't.

maybe i should have clarified, n20 when combined with fuel becomes "extremely" flammable. but nitrous on its own is not.

$33 USD or CAD?

Jime is right, once you mod a car its never the same,it dont matter if its a vi,or nitrous, you are changing that motor from its original specs.nitrous is a very good mod as long as you are not a retard.I am running nx, and have been for the past 6 mon.I ran a 15.5 n/a and 30 min later i ran a 13.5 on a 75 shot.I will go to the track this weekend and run the 100 shot, and maybe the 125.I am going to race a new 350z,a 280z,and a older 300zx.This is what wants to race against me because no one else can run low 13s.All i have is the intake,y-pipe,catback,crank pulley, and my nx.I will take pics of how it goes and will post the time slips after friday.

Disagree

NA mods, like the VI, Y pipe, B pipe etc, are only enhancing your normal car. The car still is the same VQ30DE, just breathing better.

Non-NA mods such as an SC, NOx, turbo etc, physically and chemically change the motor. With those mods, your effective displacement has gone up. You start off with 3.0 liters, but forced induction has made it quite a bit more, like 3.7 or more.

i disagree. all f/i is is getting more air into the engine. period. so it is like a bunch of bolt-ons all done at once. the hard part is getting the proper fuel(easy with nitrous) and having enough spark.

Didnt we decide that a wet kit might not be good with VI due to it accumulating on the butterflies?

i think that fuel puddling in the manifold must be taken into account, but there are plenty of variable intake cars that run wet kits with no problems.
