I am going to try the sentra/200sx bushings in my max and when I got the shifter cover off I saw that the bottom of the shifter is under the car, is access to it above the cat? the dust boot that is on the shifter under the shifter cover has two screws in it and what looks like two welds not screws on the rear part of it so I cannot acces the bottom of the shifter that way.

DROP THE EXHAUST RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE B-PIPE AND REMOVE THE HEAT SHIELD. IT'S RIGHT THERE.
