Anybody got any Idea about the JWT cams???

I remember i30krab posting something about them being available and the general price, but I called JWT and had and performance shop call them and I get the same thing I got years ago...just a smaller time frame...they say there almost done should be available within 2-3 weeks at the latest. I'm really hoping that is true but I'm not holding my breathe. Does anyone have any info on the cams besides what JWT says. I'm starting to think that they don't exist. Plus I want to get this mod. Any insight would be great.

thanks,
John

What do cams do ?? How much did they cost from JWT ?? Are they hard to Install ?? Do you need to any other engine work if you want to put cams in ??

Control the lift and duration of the valves. Alot, $1100 I seem to remember, plus install price which will be very significant. Yes they are hard to install. Yes you need other work to make best use of them, but you can use them as your only mod, though it would make no sense to.

I believe you....just discouraging when you call and they say they aren't available yet. And that it will be 2-3 weeks probably sooner, but I've heard that story before. By any chance i30krab...did you get a dyno done or a quarter mile run yet??? I'm excited to see that!!!

Thanks
