air intake sensor and hybrid intake

hey... i'm installing my custom HAI tonight and i'm trying to decide where to put the intake temp. sensor. should i drill another hole in the midpipe... put it in the top of my filter... or???. i'm thinking it might get cooler air if placed in the filter compared to the midpipe... but i don't know if that matters or not. i'd just really like to get rid of the factory intake piping. any suggestions?? thanks.

I zip-tied mine right outside the filter.

I twist tied mine right next to the intake. Don't forget to plug it back in to the factory electrical system though!
