SE Gauge Swap is DONE

After a LOT of trouble with one nut, I got em in today, with a little bit of scraping on my hand but you know. Put everything back and lit em up! First, I was very impressed with how they looked at night. Looks awesome! Turned the lights off and stared the car. All needles work perfectly. My dad came along for the test cruise. He has a Lexus LS400 which is much bigger and a "bit" smoother than the Maxima. Cruising at 30 in the neighborhood, he was certian we were goin 40. We took his car out and tested mine against his. Speedo was right on.

My only conerns:

1) Fuel guage is burned out. One day when I'm feeling extremely not lazy I'll swap it. But as I dont do much night driving and that's my least favorite gauge, I'm in no hurry.
2) Cruise control LED is most likely burned out. I set it at 30 in my neighborhood and it held pretty well (with no gas) so I think it still works. So I think that means 2 bulbs to fix. Joy. Does anyone know if the SE guage lights are the exact same as the GXE gauge lights? If so, I'll rob one off my old cluster thats sitting upstairs.

Why would you assume an LS400s speedo is more accurate than yours?

I didn't. My dad assumed mine was miscalibrated (he wasn't used to the ligher feel of the max). Thus, fairly knowing that his was accurate, we compared them. He went 25 in front, and I went 25 in back. I followed him perfectly.
