what wire to tap into?

First off, I have indiglos, so my dimmer doesn't work with my guages, just my radio,etc... I installed an a/f guage and a n2o and I must have spliced into the wrong wire on the dimmer switch. It took me so long to do that I just wondered if anyone knew which one to splice into that will make my new guages adjustable with my dimmer. I tapped into the blue wire, there were 2 others there. thanks for the help. Also, who else has initial K indiglo guages, because I need to get the digital changer for the brighness and colors, for mine was stolen. thanks a lot

I would not run any aftermarket gauges off the dimmer switch. You might overload the circuit and keep blowing the fuse. Even if you don't, you are putting more amperage through the dimmer switch. It will overheat and eventually melt.

thanks for the input. btw, i love your car. But there shouldn't be enough power being drawn IMO for it tto melt or anything. It's less than 5 amps. Right now this is the only option I have, so I'm just gonna do it. Does anyone know whcih wire to tap? thanks
