Leaking caused by switching to a synthetic at a higher mileage is not anywhere near as common in the transmission as it is in the engine.

Drain and fill. I did the change at 90K miles and car shifts "like butta". I highly recommend the switch.

A synthetic won't cause it to pop out of gear. Just drain and fill. If you insist on Redline it's MT-90 that's best.

You should buy 5 qts. to make sure you have enough. With the car level on the ground and the fill plug open, the gear oil should drip out. That's how you know it's full.

There's two bolts that look like they might the drain for the transmission. Behind them are ***** and springs that snick into the detent for some of the gears. If you remove them, the transmission will easily slide out of gear with no load on it. If you drain the fluid correctly, this will not be an issue.

There's one big fill hole, that one you can't miss. If you think you found the drain plug easily, that's not the right one. The correct one goes into the side of the tranny right next to the shift linkage. It's a PITA to get a wrench on, you'll need a 12mm closed end wrench to do it.

The other two plugs that the ***** will fall out of are very easy to get to, so they're also easy to rule out if you know what to look for.
