Springs and struts

I was originally gonna get H&R's with stock struts, but i see now that it is not a good idea. I am already getting new wheels and tires, and didnt feel like spending even more money buying 400 dollar struts. So, would the older KYB i think they're called GR2 or something, be good enough? They are like half the price. I might even get sprint if i am getting struts anyway, so would GR2's be good with sprints? Thanks.

You're better off with Intrax and Tokico.

yeah the Gr2's would be ok, only major difference is the ability to adjust the AGX ones. I have heard, that the gr2's are a good ride, good handling etc. AGX would obviously be a better choice because you can adjust them. Im sure if you do a search you will find tons of posts about them.

Unless the AGX owners convince me otherwise. I might get the GR2s! I never thought about it, lets see what is the case....

AGX and Progress. Not a big fan of Tokico. Progress has the best looking drop...no towing a boat look like most other springs.

I know that. If he searched (or even scrolled down), he'd know that too.

uh yeah, what he said. Suspension mods are the best mods, going fast is fun, but turing fast is more fun

I was gonna get the AGX'S but money is tight and i dont need the adjustability just a better ride than blown stockers and sprint springs. It is funni my car squeeks all the time cause the front shock it blown. So i think Gr2's are the way to go at least for me. Brian

Go with the GR2's. Although I have the AGX's and do play with them now and then, the settings I drive on daily 1 & 2 are said to be close to if not exactly how the GR2's are valved. My car rides excellent set this way.

This info came directly from KYB.

If you ever intend on autocrossing, I would recommend the AGX. Adjustablity is key in those cases. But if you just want new springs and struts the GR-2s should be ok, as long as the springs aren't too much of a drop.

If you're getting sprints (2" drop) you might want something with a little more performance - AGX.
