My car has a mind of its own...

Yesterday at work I was trying to unlock the doors with the keyless gadget remote. It wouldnt unlock. It kept on making the noise like it was trying (Thank GOD for warranty) I was getting ****ed.Then I thought maybe its the battery in the remote. So I took it out and put it back in and it worked after a couple more tries.

This morning I try to unlock it and it did it again. So I press it again and it rolls down both front windows like 3-4 inches and unlocks the doors.Hmmmm

WTF is going on?Has this ever happened to anyone?

Thanks

Your remote is working properly. If you press that unlock button for a while and release it, it will roll down both front windows.

Whenever I am near a grocery store in Madison (Cub Foods, yup, just that one!), I always have some difficulty to open/lock the doors with remote.

However, whenever I am in the "low noise" (no radio freq. area), the remote is working fine.

I had a similar problem once. I could not get the factory alarm to set. The remote would unlock all the doors but not lock them. It turns out one of my doors was not closed fully. I would check that first because this does effect the alarm/unlock/lock feature of the car.
