Hood color suggestions!!!

ok. I got my hood replaced with a neptune blue one.
My maxima is Pearl White.
After replacing the hood with (333matt333), we both just loved the white and dark color hood look on it.
Not trying to make it look like carbon fiber. It just looks nice with a dark hood.
So I want to get it painted Black. Maybe with some pearl color added on to it.. There are different kinds of black right?
I just want some suggestions... If you are going to flame me about how I'm trying to make it look carbon fiber... please don't post...

Thanks

not to be a *****, but in my opinion, i think the best color hood, no matter what color car, is the color of the car. i don't like the hood being different than the car. it doesn't look right. body kits, fine. some colors look good on other colors, but hoods just don't look right to me. it's ashame too, because my hood is chipping and rusting, so i will be most likely buying a new one soon, or something. i might even break down and get a new paint job too, but that's beside the point.

I think it would look good if some1 made black-out headlights for our cars to compliment the black hood. I've seen that done for a JDM look on Honda's (who hasn't lol)...I'm feelin it

i believe that black-out headlights are also illegal. i am not positive, but i think they are. unless you mean with like a little circle for light to pass through?

I think legality depends on the state...

Funny observation: In a sea of mod-stricken suckers looking for a way to get brighter headlights, spending money on upgraded wiring harnesses, BMW headlight assemblies, HID upgrade kits, whatever else... and here's a guy that wants to effectively make his headlights *DIMMER*.

Oh yeah, Sexima... have it painted flat (matte) black. It will absorb radar and laser waves rather than reflect them back to the "traffic enforcers".

in my eyes, different color hood indicates it was purchased from a junk yard and hasn't been painted yet. even the carbon fiber hoods look ugly being different than the rest of the car.

...a little misunderstanding...when I said "black-out" headlights, I meant like this:

This is exactly the JDM look I'm talkin bout too, and prob what you're looking for Sexima (even tho its a civic):

Just paint the surrounding (non-reflective) part of the headlight assembly black (on the inside of course). Obviously you have to leave the reflective parts...well....reflective as to not waste the $ you spent on headlight mods

Shooter: ahhh.... got it man, yer right that looks really cool. I have a can of semi-gloss black and I think I might just try that on Maxine this weekend!

69Charger: Man those cars are ugly, even if they had matching hoods... no offense, just ugly cars (fast, sure...).
