my boot left and gave me a greasy mess
my boot left and gave me a greasy mess
i was changing the steering gear boots earlier and i just happen to look at the otherside of the rotor and i see grease everywhere coming from the point where the axle meets the wheel.
i move to the passenger side and i see none (grease splatter), but i DO see a CV boot. driver side, i see none.
damn.
i just started hearing clunking yesterday, i thought it was the steering gear boots (replaced anyway because they were in two) but nope. i talked to a tech and he said i'd need a new axle because the joint is f***ed.
dizamn.
how should i remedy this?
when my max was on the lift the bottom of my tires were inward and the top outward. i can't fix that until i fix the cv boot axle problem...
"one way, or another, i'm gonna find ya, i'm gonna get-cha get-cha get-cha get-cha"
