Cornering Lights question
Cornering Lights question
Ok, I just put PIAA White Extreme 9004 in my headlight and damn they are bright. But now my corners look like **** cause they are dim(respectively) and yellow. The main question is can you rewire your corners to not only be brighter, but to match the headlights (Low beams and highbeams) If you can do this, do you need special bulbs, or will Polarg M14 (Custommaxima.com reccomendation) be fine?
Thanks
Thanks

Are you talking about you bumper or clearence light if you are talking about the clerance lights then all you have to do is take the bulb out shave the upper nub on the blub and place the bulb in backwards. Brian

I am talking about the Clearance lights right next to the headlights. I know you can rewire them to make them brighter (or shave the nub?) But I want to know if you can have them bbe connected to headlights so when the headlights are on lowbeams, the corner lights are as well, and when the hi beams are on, same with the corners.

Let me tell ya something. I have the complete Custommaxima set up with PIAAs in my headlights and Polargs all around. The Polargs do match the PIAAs at ALL! The picutres in Custommaxima are missleading. You are better off going to Tirerack.com and ordering all of your Bulbs PIAAs, do not try to match them with Polargs. Polargs are blue! Not hyper white as they claim to be. Do not make the same mistake I did.

You can rewire the brighter setting to come on with your headlights or blinkers by connecting another wire from another power source (turn signal, high beam headlights, etc.) to the high lead on the corner lights. Does that make sense? Keep the low lead wired like it is, and add a wire to the high lead that connects to another power source. Whenever you turn on that power source (turn signals, for instance) you send power to the high lead.
But, if you do that, your lights will be dim (like they are now) whenever you don't have your blinkers (or headlights) on, whichever power source you use.
