How to get rid of white stuff from super glue?

ok, well i bought some clear/red tails, and a little peice of the lense cracked so the seller super glued it back on, its perfect except for that white afterward stuff of the glue. Im wondering how to get rid of by using some sort of cleaner or something. I used paint thinner, but didnt work, it would disappear, then reappear again....however, paint thinner very very nice to get the black rubber sealent of off ur lense...

so anyone go any suggestions?

If 'goo off' or 'goo gone' does not work, try acetone. I work at an optical retail shop, and I work with acetone all the time. It's the only thing I know of that gets super glue off. I'm not sure where you get it, though... it's a smelly, hazardous chemical

You can get it from Advanced Autoparts (near the paint section). Make sure you don't use too much though, acetone can warp plastic. A little shouldn't hurt it though.

Hmmm... I just saw that MAXXspeed18 recommended something called goof off... I have no idea what that is. I figured it might be something like 'goo gone' or something.

Goof off is not like goo gone, its an ACETONE BASED CLEANER. It has the smell and everything to prove it

Yes nail polish remover has ascetone. It comes with or without, just make sure it does not say "ascetone free".
I have tried Nail polish remover for a few things and it did nothing.
