Hey, I got a still pretty new Blitz BOV for sale. It's from a friend of mine, only used for one week. Only asking $180 shipped.
Yea, I saw that you had one for sale. I'm not really sure about having used parts for my SC, even if they're slightly used, I kind of want everything to be brand new so I'll have less to worry about with parts failing. I'm guessing its the same blitz bov as the one linked above for $199? If so, I doubt your friend will have it for another 2 weeks since the bov will be purchased after the SC install. I'll keep that offer in mind though. Thanks.

SC 3.33" Pulley

3.33" SC Pulley Belt
http://www.napaonline.com/cgi-bin/nc...5&prmenbr=5806

Gauge Pods

Autometer Phantom Boost Gauge
http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=23979

Autometer Phantom Fuel Temp. Gauge
http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=14439

Autometer Phantom EGT Gauge
http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=27671

Blitz Blow-Off Valve
http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=25203

I think the BOV will be purchased after the SC install. That EGT gauge is pretty pricey also compared to everything else on the list. I would like to get it, but is it truly needed before I install the SC? This will allow me to think if I should get just the dual gauge pod and then get the single later. Also, when I'm driving, what should I look out for from the 3 above gauges, like what should they never indicate? Anyway, there's my list, please tell me if everything sounds right. I assumed the 3.33" pulley was 6-rib since the belt number says 6-rib. Any advice or cheaper vendors I should know of? Thanks.

I believe the belts that come with the kit, the Gates K060710 are good for 3.6-3.33" pulley sizes.
Also 1 step colder plugs

Thanks for starting this thread - it has been very informative, and thanks to all the SC'd who have contributed their experiences.

Out of curiousity, why are you getting "FUEL TEMPERATURE" Gauge?
IMHO, You really need a fuel PRESSURE gauge.

supercharger

good luck with the install--have some additional tips if you need them.. anyways wanted to let you know about the bov-the unit that comes with the sc kit releases hot compressed air back into your air cleaner- not a good thing--the blitz unit also has a low rpm blow off option. the whole purpose of this- will keep your blades inside your sc in better shape for a longer period of time. your spending 3500 on the sc, dont cheap out on the bov. also if you drain your rad. and take off the pass. side rad. hose you will be a lot happier.

So is this item list correct? I'm going to contact Paul at avalonracing.net tomorrow to purchase the SC for $3250 + $45 shipping. I'm also planning on getting the 3.33" pulley tomorrow from the above link. please let me know if that is the right pulley assuming the belt is 6-rib. Thanks.
