Costco sells Optima batteries

Was at Costco yesterday here in Sacramento, and noticed they are selling Optima Red Top $108, and Yellow Top $128. Just thought you people out there might want to know.

Kirkland is a suburb of Seattle, the area that Costco is based. Kirkland Krap.

But I just bought an Optima Red top for $103 here in a So Cal Costco store.

Different COSTCOs have different batteries, I think. We've had the new Red tops here for awhile, but one of the COSTCOs in Hawaii just started carrying the blue top batteries as well! (The others don't have the blue tops).

Aloha,

They had red and more recently blue tops at the Costco here by Qualcomm stadium in SD. No yellow.

What size/type will fit the Maxima? I've read some mods are necessary, but which model red top will adapt the best? Is there a part number? Thanks.

Update 11/5/2002 -- Bought red top at the new Costco in Glenview, Illinois for $103. They only carry one size which happens to fit the Maxima (35/75 720 CCA's).
