KYB AGX Compatibility w/Eibach Pro-Kit
Hi,
Anyone run into problems with an Eibach Pro-Kit combo with the KYB AGX? I'm currently Cattman coilovers that have the KYB AGXs with Eibach 380 lb ERS springs in front. The front is dropped about 1.75 in, and the KYBs have no adjustment and have lost a lot of rebound damping. I heard that too much lowering can cause problems with the AGX. I'm thinking of using the Pro-Kit + AGX, but am worried that I might run into the same shock problem. Perhaps I'll go back to Konis instead and live with the rear adjustment hastle. Any comments?
Thanks,
Mike Magdaluyo

Just to clarify. . .
It's not just the AGX's that will have problems if you go too low. ANY aftermarket shock/strut designed with OEM ride height to -> 1.5" lower than OEM WILL suffer premature failure, due to the extra abuse they take when you run at lower ride heights.
