Random thought on gutting cat.....

I have no emmisions here, if I just gutted my cat out and put a pipe in there would I get a raunchy stinch of a smell? How about HP gains, with stock exhaust but Id be going Y pipe soon. And, if it is bad for the air how bad is it? Like I said no emmisions in my town...LOL

One day when I was installing my y-pipe I drove it around with no y-pipe on just to see what would happen. First of all it was loud as ****. People have told me the only thing louder is a Nascar engine. But that won't happen to you since I hope you will have the rest of the exhaust on. But, there is a HORRIBLE smell! It is terrible to smell and also horrible for the environment. You wont gain much anyway and if you do want to do this then go get a performance cat for around $60 or so. You may not have emissions there, I don't here, but please keep a cat on your car.
