I installed an oil Cooler, in preparation of boost/Nitrous. I used a oil filter Sandwich adapter, and teed in an oil pressure guage/sender on one of the lines to the cooler. The reason for doing this is so I will know right sway, by way of the guage, if there are any problems with the cooler lines. I was wondering what oil pressures people are seeing from there oil pressure guages? When i first start up the car , the oil pressure is about 75psi at 1000rpm idle. when the idle settles down to 600-700rpm the pressure settles down to about 25psi. when crusing along at 2000-3000 rpm i am seeing oil pressure fo about 70psi. When i go WOT, the guauge is pegged at 100psi (I am assuimg that it is beyond what the guage can measure. Then after coming back down from WOT, it settles down to the numbers described above. So , basically 25psi idle, 75psi cruising, and of the scale, WOT.
