Tightening and levelling pedals

Does anyone have a link to a HOWTO on how to level out the gas pedal and increase the tension on the spring?

Level it?

If you want more tension, replace the old spring!

If you meant to raise the gas pedal to the same height as the brake/clutch pedal then you are going to have driveability problems because the gas pedal is suppose to be lower to facilitate "heel-and-toeing".

Ahhh, alright, thanks for the info. Also, do you happen to know how much the spring costs?

The accelerator spring on the 95 maxima was too soft from the very beginning. Where would i find a stiffer spring? Are the 97+ maximas any better? is it easy to remove/install? Has anyone done it before?
