I put my clear tail light today.
Just put set of clear tail light today. I personally think clear tail light look better than clear/red tail light.
Now my concern is, pull over by cops. Some ppl telling me cops don't really care about clear tail light as long as if you have red bulb even tho it's illegal. And I have seen lots of max with clear tail light with no problem on their town. I live in WA, does anyone put clear tail light in WA, if so, have you got pull over?
Hopefully It get along with cops. Just in case I put old red tail light in the trunk. hehe.
Wow.. I feel kinda scared to drive now... hehe.. I should just put the old one back in, or just make it clear/red. Lolz.

Personally I'd get the red paint on, cause otherwise it gives A-hole cops a reason to pull you over...then they'll say "your exhaust is too loud...your clear bumper lenses are illegal...blah,blah,blah" Some cops are just lookin to pull over souped up cars

They are cracking down on that stuff lately. I think because of the volume of aftermarket lenses and mods you see on cars now. I got pulled over some months ago, at night mind you for not haveing orange markers on my front clears. He then said I needed to have a liscence plate on the front of my car. Boy, before I new what hit me he and his back-up were talking about how I took off the letters and emblems off the back of the car. I gave him a hard time because I wanted to know where and what law stated these infractions. He was frustrated at that point. After a little longer(and having written out the tickets), he asked me where I worked, I told him Department of Criminal Justice. He asked for the tickets back and tore them up. We got along after that...phew close one.....heheheh
If I wasn't connected in any way, I would have had to show proof of the corrections in court, and then could have dealt with the fines.

It was a State Trooper, and he just was trying to mess with me (about the emblems) at that point because of my unwillingness to go along with the tickets for the front licsense plate removal and not having ambers up front....geez what are they going to try and get you for next...I'm glad I didn't have clear tails and my exhaust isn't too loud.
southpaw: god bless the nypd. lol. They have NEVER EVER EVER given me a problem about any little ******** things. I do a lot of driving in the city and out on the island, nassau cops seem to have nothing better to do than find everything wrong on your car. NYPD cops couldn't give a ****, they're busier with other stuff. God bless 'em.

[/I][/QUOTE]I just put some red reflective sticker to my clear tail light, On my way back from local auto shop after putting those stickers, there was a cop following my car, I was kinda scared but good lord, he went to other intersection after following bout half mile.
I had no lisence plate in front, big 5.5 dunk exhaust with some funny looking clear tail light with red reflective sticker on it. lolz. I guess clear tail light are ok if it has some sort of red reflection and red blub. Hopefully I get along with cops here in washington. Wish me luck guys.
BTW I put two 1'*3' on each tail light so it looks kinda weird, and make me rethink about getting red/clear tail after all.
