I think the KYB GR-2's have been called comfortable. If you have a stock springs, maybe you should look into the GR-2's...on top of comfort...they are inexpensive too.

If you aren't going to lower the car with new springs and are just looking for some new struts to replace the stock ones, go with KYB GR-2.

They are very good replacements for stock. And fairly cheap too.
Tirerack.com has some good prices.

Get them online. You'll save close to 50% over what a mechanic will charge for the parts. Make sure you get new dust boots for all 4 corners too. The stock ones are either shredded or close to it by now.

Good luck.

The AGX's are good for a comfortable ride if you lower your car. But stock height, I would stick with the replacement types rather than performance struts. Believe it or not, the stock Nissans are pretty comfortable, and I've heard good things about the KYB GR-2's as well. Both the Nissans or GR2's should last you until the car dies.

I have GR-2's and they are comfortable. I have H&R springs which help also.
