did i get ripped off?

I bought a 95 maxima gxe in may of this year. it had cloth seats, automatic, aftermarket stereo, tweeters, 15" chrome rims, spoiler, and was in very good condition inside and out. I got it for $7,900. Was that a good deal? oh, and it had 92,400 miles on it. I am 16 and this is my 1st car and i was so anxious to get a car so when i saw this one i fell in love did i get ripped off or was it a pretty good deal?

well, I paid $8300 for a 95 maxima se model, auto with a leather interior conversion and wood trim kit back in June, 2002. The car had 72,000 miles on it and was in mint condition.

Nope

I bought my 95 GXE auto with alpine & polks and leather and new green paint and window tinted this May for $7200 with 79K miles.

But no rims...

So I had to buy 10 yr old 300ZX 16" rims weighed each at 13 lbs w/o tires then buy slightly used z-rated Yokohamas: $330

Then front strut bar: $25
Then rear sway bar: $115

Then one of negative wire broke down, I couldn't find it: $260 including towing

next mod: popcharger, about $20
next mod: front clear side markers, about $40
next mod: y-pipe, about $160

Then I'll be happy and I'll have about 215 horses under me

Don't hate me!!!

I stumbled onto my deal...my boss got his '97 gle back from his daughter so he had no use for his '96 gle - silver exterior with black leather and all the goodies - so he popped off a price of $3500...so I now own it!!!! oh and it has 110,000 highway miles on it...so I think I got a good deal, or at least the wife did, lol!!!

I too payed out-the-**** for my max. I was looking for a while, though, and when I found what I wanted I went for it. And I'll never regret it!

you spolied little... no j/k. If my parents gave me a car I'd sure as hell take it. What really gets to me is that damn Lexus commercial where Mommy and Daddy buy their little girl a brand new IS300 for her birthday. That is spoiled.

I'd say it sounds like a prettty good deal. As long as you like it, it's a smooth reliable ride than it's worth it.
