Electric Windows Issue/Question
#1
Could someone tell me if it possible to alter the rear windows so that they go ALL the way down.
My Navigator went in for service last week, the loaner they gave me, LS w/v-8 ( sweet, but still a lincoln) the rear windows went all the way down. Last month same car different loaner, rear windows went down 3/4. Dealer said their is a block or clip..
Does the Maxima have such a feature that could be removed. My kids are like Dogs love to have wind in their face.
( yes they are old enough to not stick their heads out)
While i am on the subject, could the " really cool feature" dicovered by so many of us last week " Front windows roll down with a push of the unlock button" ( by the way my son made me show it to three of his friends after school, me the Hero..)
Could the Rear Windows be wired to open as well as the fronts???

Use a steel tape to measure the height of your rear door window. It is 17 inches. Now open the rear door and visualize where the trailing edge of the glass would be if the window was rolled down 17 inches. It's not inside the door!

I, too, wish the rear door windows could roll all the way down. It's a physical impossibility. The doors aren't long enough.
