Diamond Clear Corners

I bought a set of diamond clear corners off Ebay. The quality of these things aren't too great. The lens looks ok from the outside. What are your experiences with the corners you have? Good quality?

What do you mean not too great? I got one set from ebay for 20 shipped that looked like CRAP (the front lens was all yellow, ask hlh or bbaker025 they saw em)...then I ordered another pair and they rock! So it's just chance, I guess.

I got a pair of diamond cut corners a couple months ago. I think they are very high quality and look pretty damn nifty.

i don't think any aftermarket clear bumper lenses are 100%. there's always something wrong you're going to find on them. just put them on and enjoy them..
my D/C's look ***** from far away.. you come up to them and they look just ok.

I found the exact same problem on the first set of DC's i had... I complained and sent them back cuz they barely fit, some of the chrome on the inside was flaking out and now the ones i got in return rival the OEM quality...

Don't all DC corners come from the same manufacturer anyway? I think it's just a matter of poor quality control, both from the manufacturer and the vendor.

i got some "euro" clears off ebay and they look really good, but the fitment is just a little off. i just put a small piece of foam tape behind it and now it doesnt move at all.

I bought mine from custommaxima and the quality sucked. They looked nothing like the picture on the website and the fittement sucked.

If you look at mine from somewhat a distance, they are awesome. But up close, they are just ok. They aren't perfectly straight either. So, it really depends on how lucky you get when you get them in the mail.

Quick question about your intake,

Where does the AMB Sensor go? W/ the Stillen, it goes directly into the Big Filter, just curious.

Also, to answer the question about the Lights, I got mine from custommaxima too. The right side fitted just fine. The driver's side did for awhile, then I was driving and it popped out! I got it back in, but needed to jurry rig it a little. The parking light just wasn't Popping in like it was suppose to.

All in all, I would get them again though, they look good to me

I dont' believe I have that sensor cause mine is '99, when I had the Stillen intake, I had to tape the hole up on the big filter. But I'm sure Injen for your particular year would have a hole for you to plug it into.

Try to install them. The front turning signal pieces fits securely. The gaps are a little off. The side marker pieces don't fit well, especially the driver side one, very loose. I can see it now, them falling off over a moderate bump. I also notice the OEM one have a prismatic reflecting surface and the DC don't. Is this going to be a potential hazard? With the prismatic surface you front corners are highly visible at night. So I put back the OEM side marker pieces. It doesn't look bad. Looks like I have narrow fog lights.

seriously,
they all suck in quality.

My regular clears were better.. But also sucked.

they are 4 lenses for like 37$. They won't get any better.. just hope that they fit, hold secure and they don't leak.. once you put them in, you can't tell if they are of crappy quality.

after reading the thread i went outside and checked on my D/C's.. one of you was right!!.. my driver's side marker is completely loose.. i flicked it with my finger and the thing popped out!.. i mean this is made easy for jacking purposes.. i took out the little plastic gromet and crazy glued two of the three prongs together for tighter fit..i hope it works.. if not, i'm going to crazy glue the whole thing together and hell with it.. if a light bulb goes and i can't get it from under the bumper cover. i'll just bust the whole thing an order new ones.
it's always something with these aftermarket things

Since mine fell out during a trip, I took mine to a Local Nissan Dealer. They were really friendly, and what they had to do was take that gromet, and put a small wire tie around it (from it's placement inside the fender) How they did that was they put the grommet in it's place in the fender, and went from the underside of the car. Removed the splash guard and put a wire tie around the grommet. That bi$#@ is not going anywhere now!
