check engine light code

Can someone please tell me what 5 long, 10 short means? The ECU decoder doesn't work. I have a 99 GXE, thanks!

DTC 0510

Diagnostic Trouble Code 0510 points to a problem with the Rear Heated Oxygen Sensor.
This sensor is mountedin the exhaust stream, just downstream of the Catalytic Converter. When the two Front Heated Oxygen Sensorsare operating properly the Rear Heated Oxygen Sensor is not used for engine control operation. It is used to monitor the condition of the Catalytic Converter. If either (or both) Front Sensors fail, the Engine Control Module uses the signal from the Rear Sensor to maintain a correct fuel/air mixture.

DTC 0510 is detected when the signal from the Rear Heated Oxygen Sensor does not reach the expected
maximum voltage threshold value.
The possible causes include ...
- Harness or connectors (the sensor circuit is open or shorted.)
- Rear Heated Oxygen Sensor
- Fuel pressure
- Fuel injectors
- Intake air leaks

its in the mid pipe behind the cat.. just jack up the rear passenger side of the car and use a 22mm open end wrench to remove it(well its 22 for the front.. just guessing it might be the same for the rear)

FYI: the rear o2 sensor doesn't affect performance on the maxima.. its just there to monitor the cat.. so there is not real rush to get it fixed

Thanks for all the help guys. I reset the ecu without fixing anything and the light hasn't come back, yet. Could it just have been a fluke? Or does the ecu need time to register any problems?

if its bad, it will come back on in about 100 miles or so. As someone mentioned earlier, just take it out wipe it down real good with an alcohol moistened rag. Let it dry put it back in and reset the ECU.
