why do you say armor-all is a bad thing to use?

i normally use the same stuff i use on my tires to give them a good shine...either the Meguiar's wheel wet product or another one (i believe it's called Black Magic??). i guess they're most likely very similar to armor-all, but they seem much thicker. it keeps them looking nice.
