What is the best way to remove the kick panels that are under the doors? I was reading the section about installing new I30 kick panels and they said there was a certain tool to remove them without scratching the paint? Are there alternative ways to remove them? Thanks for the help.

 

They are slightly flexible... If you pull up on them, you will be able to tell where the friction fasteners are. Carefully silde a wide flat thiing under them near each friction fitting and pry up slowly to remove......
