Yeah, the install isn't really all that bad. It is pretty straight forward, although some of the bolts on the EGR and the rear manifold can be a little hard to get to. I could do it again in no time. If you have tools, patience, and any mechanical ability then you can follow the directions and get it done pretty easily.

Much congratulations.

As a fellow auto N/A max, I am VERY impressed. I know how hard it is to hit times like this. If I had a dollar for everytime someone said, "Why don't you just NOS it?!", I'd have one hell of a car built. Everytime I think I'm going to do it N/A, something goes wrong. It's the challenge that's awesome, to me. Keep up the good work!

Just know I'm chasing you.

I hope you are chasing me...unlike what some people think, it would not bother me at all if there are other faster autos than me, I just want the 5 speed guys to see that we can be fast too. You will get there soon enough.

I have three videos done and on my computer, I just don't have anywhwere to host them right now, but I am working on that. I have the best run which was against a LS1, a solo run which was my best trap speed (so you can hear how loud my car is), and then a run with a 5.0 mustang with 4.10 gears, exhaust, and intake.

I just got back from the track today and I am extremely pleased with my car. My new mods are in my sig. The variable intake is great. Lets just say that my slowest time of the day was still faster than my old record. Conditions were good, but not great, temp about 65 with 70% humidity. My new best goes as follows:

RT .382
60 2.260
330 6.279
1/8 9.543
mph 77.12
1000 --
1/4 14.777
mph 93.51

my other bests on another run were:
RT .662
60 2.274
330 6.293
where did you get the VI from?
1/8 9.55
mph 77.62
1000 --
1/4 14.783
mph 93.54

I ran several other times, 14.805, 14.841, 14.859, 14.875. Every one of my 60 ft times was a 2.2x also, so I was fairly consistent. The good news is that I have all of these runs on video, and will try to get those on the internet by wednesday, and I will scan the timeslips as well, when I get back home. All of these runs were made with full interior, the only things removed were the spare and jack. I was on my stock 15" wheels with 205/50-15 kuhmo tires. I believe that when cold weather gets here, that I can hit a 14.5 if I can get traction in the cold.

No, I haven't dynoed yet, I plan to one day. I think that I would be somewhere around bags and BSwithTF, though. I don't have any secret mods...yet.
