dumb question about spark plugs...

I dont know too much about spark plugs, but can someone tell me if i am correct about this, if a plug has a copper core, its not platinum tipped, right? or are the plat's all platinum? I have a feeling i got the wrong plugs.

I bought NGK plugs, but not the same ones that came in the car. they are NGK V power plugs, and i just noticed on the back of the box that it says copper core, so i am wondering if i should go get different ones or if those are ok?

those are the best plugs for your maxima.. they just won't last as long as the Platinum.. so they will last 30k instead of 60k.. but they will give a better spark and better overall performance than the platinum plugs..

so its up to you. you can pay $8 each for plats.. or $8 for all 6 with copper.. and change them more often

Sprint, why copper? >>

Is it because copper is better conductor of electricity than platinum?
