97-99 vs. 95-96 rear bumpers

Alright guys,

I need help since i've looked at both rear bumpers side by side an d see no real difference. are they the same height/length? what are the reasons some skirt packages don't fit?

thanks,

i believe the the depth of the 97-99 bumpers stick out farther than the 95-96. the depth being the "ledge" the bumper creates. the 97-99 sticks out farther.

so is it possible to put a 95-96 bumper on a 97-99 maxima? the reason being is that I wanna get an Apexi WS exhaust, and then I wouldnt have to make it longer if i had a shorter 95-96 bumper. thanks!
