What you are impling is downright idiotic. Don't try to equate putting a Supra TT engine into a 240sx with putting a RB26DETT into a maxima and making that maxima 4wd. It's not the same animal period. Do you actually know anything about cars or do you just ride on the accomplishments of others?

that's exactly what I was thinking Jeff

were not hating. if we were hating we would say that its not possible. lot of us agree that it IS possible but just comment that its stupid. if u wanted big iron block power out of the maxima, u would have much more luck trying to fit in a built FWD VG30, and just get custom piping to fit in the turbos and so forth, with a fwd transmission. im not calling you a liar Rufus, but if youre saying u coulda gotten it done for 8 grand, id have to see the reciepts to believe it. It costs nearly that much to build a VQ and turbo it.

ok ok,

what everyone was saying is that its not as easy as you might think to slap an RB26DET or TT into the Max. inline 6 is too long to keep FWD, and converting to RWD or AWD is even crazier. comparing a 2JZ motor into a 240sx isnt a good comparasion cause both those motors are from RWD platforms. I am not a "hater" im juss stating the facts.

and why a 2JZ motor over a VG30DETT motor? i am a Nissan fan but truth is the 2JZ motor is far superior then the VG. Lets not get into that.

we did my turbo setup over 2 years ago, yea i got alot of sheit for it, but i didnt get into flames with people, cause people gonna say what they gonna say. Juss do waht you gotta do and shut people up. So if you really gonna or wanna do it, juss do it, and show people up. simple as that.

hehe

i remember back in the day when people doubt you could turbo the VQ. now look at you...probably one of the fastest maximas out there.

if you got money, and i mean PLENTY of money, then do as you please. why not build a tube frame chassis modeled after an R34 designed for its tranny/drivetrain/RB26DETT? why not custom mold a maxima body to it? it'd be cheaper than converting a maxima to RWD/AWD...
