Apex-i World Sport/WSP-Y pipe -> Sound ??

Alright right now I have a WSP-pipe with the rest stock and there was a ltitle exhaust change in noise with the addon of the Y...I want to change the exhaust to get the most out of the y-pipe but I want to know what it will sound like ? and if i will like it.. Does it drone at all at like 2000rpms going like 50 in 5th ?? All these questions sound soo stupid but I really want to know what people think ?? thanks guys

I dont want too loud but I want it to be noticable...when im driving and I pass someone, will they hear ? lol

The sound with that combo is sweet. It's pretty quiet with nice, low rumble at idle and above 3k rpm, it comes alive and sounds even deeper. There is no drone and in my opinion, it is the best setup for sound and horsepower. By the way, it sounds nothing like the fart can mufflers so loved by the rice crowd.

I have the same set-up: Warpspeed Y and A'PEXi WS cat-back.

I think it's great...it's not too loud at all...once you get on it all you pretty much hear is intake noise. There is no drone at all.

I even have a warpspeed test pipe in place of a cat (which makes it a little louder), and it's still nowhere near as loud and droney (is that a word??)

I have the Apex'i

Did you guys w/ the same exhaust have fitment issues? Mine was alittle off w/ the stock hangers, and caused a bubble/melting of my paint under the bumper? I had to change 1 of the hangers w/ a generic, and now I can hear it moving around more. I go over some bumps/ speed bumps / driveways, and I hear it bang.

You guys have any suggestions?

As for the sound, it's great, not too loud but you know it's there.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the loud/soft sound come primarily from the muffler? In other words, you can have any B pipe you want, but change the muffler from stillen to Apexi and it will sound just like that ...

The resonator also has a lot to do with the sound.

I am thinking of getting the Apex WS as well, someone on an old thread mentioned that they have them at rollhard.com for under $400.
They also said you could put on of the silencers on it, but I am not sure which one.

i like the sound of the apexi RS over Greddy Evo. My bro had stillen intake and Y on his 2k 5sp. He decided to change the RS for evo. Bad move, imo. Greddy sounds like a honda. RS sounded like a v8 mustang/domestic. RS is more intimidating. Evo sounds like its struggling.
