o2/CEL Reset question
o2/CEL Reset question
So I just had the rear (behind the cat) sensor replaced today on account of screwing up the original when putting on my new apex exhaust. I had to have a hole drilled into the pipe behind the cat and the new sensor put in. I am not really feeling like paying 80 more $ to have the car hooked up to the computer at the dealer and to have the CEL taken off. They did tell me that if might go off after a while - maybe a week, maybe a month - once the computer figures it out. Is there another way? The sensor is brand new.

hard way: start your car 30 times
easy way: ecu screw all the way right, back to the left stop, wait 1.5 seconds, all the way right, all the way back to the right....screw is next to your gas pedal, with the two rubber little pish pin thingies....break the plastic if you still havent gone down there yet....turn the ignition so all your dash lights come on...and do the turning thing...voila
