aimed my hids ; world of difference
aimed my hids ; world of difference
i finally found a spot to aim my hids. i have the hanabi 8k kit. the main thing i did was aim the left one down and in. before i aimed them i would get other drivers flashing me. now no probs with oncoming traffic.
also the beam pattern and area of illumination is still great.
aiming hids is a most.

do it at night and point your car towards a big wall.
park far enough that you can see the difference in between the left and right headlights. but not too far where you cant see the beams move.
take the wrench and adjust the "wands" up, down, left or right by turning the *****.
i adjusted the drivers side all the way left and down.

the passenger one is right by the top of the radiator. little black **** attached to a metal pole. it looks like its sticking out of the radiator. thats the hardest one to find. the other wands look similar but are in there respective places.

I just installed the Hanabi 6500k kit, and it is VERY bright. My headlight adjusters are broken so I will be taking the headlight out today to repair them.
My bulbs also do not match. One is blue and one is white. Kind of embarrassing. Freddie tells me they take time to get to be the same color (60hrs). Anyone else have this experience?
