weight of SE Vs. GXE?

weight of SE Vs. GXE?

whats the weight difference of a fully loaded SE 5spd compared to a GXE 5spd?

1997 GXE:
CURB WEIGHT (standard features and accessories)
Manual transmission= 3012 lbs
Automatic transmission= 3069 lbs

1997 SE:
CURB WEIGHT (standard features and accessories)
Manual transmission= 3014 lbs
Automatic transmission= 3072 lbs

1997 GLE:
CURB WEIGHT (standard features and accessories)
Manual transmission= Not available
Automatic transmission= 3085 lbs

they are basically the same weight. the GLE is the heaviest by about 60 more pounds.

wouldnt a fully loaded SE with leather sunroof bose all that be about the same wieght as GLE ?

i always thought the SE weighed more because of the slightly beefier suspension

SE is 2 pounds more because it has foglights..that is all

300lb fat guy - 165lb guy = 135lb advantage.

165lb guy - 125lb old lady = 40lb advantage

300lb fat guy - 125lb old lady = 175 advantage
