check engine light

check engine light
I own a 96 Maxima SE. Five speed transmission. I recently replaced the stock y-pipe with a Warpspeed stainless y-pipe and the airfilter with a Frankencar hybrid filter. Shortly after I put on the new equipment the check engine light appeared. A diagnostic check revealed that the problem was one of the O2 sensors on the exhaust pipe. The appropriate sensor was replaced and the light went out. The problem appeared solved until the next day and 85 miles later and it reappeared. It intermittantly turns on and off. Any ideas?

Re: check engine light
Im currently experiencing this too. After i reset the ecu it stays good for a few days. I did notice that it usually takes a bump or something that shakes up my car to trigger the CEL. So im guessing its a loose wire on one of the 02 sensors, I'll find out when i get a new Y-pipe.
