Help me choose a muffler....
#2
- I literally just installed my HKS muffler this morning and it is exactly what you're looking for. I had the same criteria when I bought mine and, so far, everything is fine.
- There is a very deep tone from just above idle to about 2500, then it just kind of melds in with everything else. The intake takes over from there on. I have a Y-Pipe, a stock mid-pipe (until Cattman finishes on the new one), and that HKS muffler. Nice set-up without sounding like its droning at cruising rpms.
- It didn't look that incredible (painted body was kinda cheap), but the quality was apparent when you peeked inside and checked the welds. The tip is 106mm (GReddy is 110mm) and it fits the rear bumper cut-out like a glove.
Happy shopping!
