Question about HID's

Ok I searched for this question and have read through numerous pages and still have not found a clear answer. I am in the market for HID's. I want them to be exactly the same color as on the NEW bmw's/benz/audi.. Would you call this blue, or purple? and what color temp would I be getting if I want the exact color as these cars, can someone help me please? thanks in advance!

well to answer your question you wont get them too look like OEM HID's like in any of the cars you listed. Unless you buy a very weak kit like a 4,000 or less kit which would be pointless. As far as color ive noticed BMW, Mercedes, Acura all use purple kits, but the higher end Lexus uses a Blue kit. Id go with the Purple kit cause for one it looks better(IMHO) and two you wont stand out as much to a cop if you drive by them.

As a reference i have the Hanabi 6,000k Purple kit and they blow away ANY OEM HID system i have seen on the road. I compared mine to my boys 2k2 and there was no comparison color and brightness wise. Same with a Lexus IS300 that i lined up with the other night comin back from work. Funny cause he asked me how come mine were brighter and better looking, lol!

were you able to match the clearance lights to your hids, as well as your fog lights? or are you just using stock bulbs in those? also, is blinding other people a problem for you? let me know, thanks!

If Ant is talking about the "Crystal White" Hanabi's then I have them as well. Purple when they start up, but bright white when they're warm with just a hint of purple.

No clearance or fog light bulbs come close, but I like the look of my stock yellow fogs with the HIDs. As far as visibilty goes they're worthless. With the HIDs on I can turn the fogs on and off and barely even notice.

yes we have the 7000k kit in-stock. i'm also running the 7k in my car now and love it. this kit is very bright with not to much blue in it like the 8000k kit.
