Crazy Bose Head Unit

My Bose head unit display has not been working lately, and if it does, only temporarily. So I thought the LED was shot and the unit was internally damaged (i.e. needs to be replaced).

However, yesterday I get in the car, start it up, and the display works fine. So i say "what gives?" While I was driving I noticed that when I leaned my right knee on the center console (left side), the display went off. But when I pulled on the opposite side (right side)of the console with a little more force, the display came back on. By the way, the forces were applied at the level of the unit.

So clearly the LED still works, but what connections could so loose as to disconnect with light force? Any of you guys notice this? Know how to fix it?

Thanks,
RL
