I had a 423+ hp Maxima and it ran a 12.01s in the quarter mile.

Here's a pic of it:

If he has 350+ hp, that should mean that he should run at least a 13.37s in the 1/4.

Or ... he could be BSing you and have only 190 hp and run about 15 seconds in the 1/4.

it's a special austrailian model. It's very illegal in the us, but a few people have them. Actually, the more i look around, the more i find them. Check the black-market EBay auctions if you want to buy one. Every now and then, there's one for sale. Very rare, but well worth it.

Yes, named after the great Engineer Ima Dumaz, who also came up with such great inventions as the solar-powered flashlight, coal-powered rocket, and who improved upon the US navy's Los angeles-class submarine by adding an invaluable screen door.

RWD Maxima

There is an .org member here named CatchME03 who suceeded in putting in the F-18 hornet hydro-turbofan engine and side wings + rear wings.

Last time I checked he was doing 900MPH, no traction whatsoever, who has beaten a BMW Z12, a Lotus Espirit (turbo), and a V12 Ferrari.

At Atlanta Motor Speed Way, his official record is engraved: 1.2 at 978mph. And his name will be remembered and revered among us Maxima folks as the hero.

And he drove a 2nd gen
