I'm thinking about going 4x4 for winter....
I miss the sweet ride that the AGX's coupled with SE springs gives. It's smooth as silk, yet very firm and quiet.
Winter is coming, my 17 inch tires are showing signs of ware. My SE-L 16" rims have brand new A2's mounted on them. I think in another week or so I'm going down to the shop and swapping the wheels/tires and switching the suspension over for the winter. It will be like driving a brand new car again for winter. Nice smooth ride for those cold damp days, makes you enjoy the Maxima just that much more during the winter months. The only cost involved will be an alignment once it's back up.
I'm also thinking about getting the Stillen Aero kit in the spring and possibly leaving the car at the normal ride height. My friends think I'm crazy because of all the changes I make to my car throughout the year. I tell them it's all part of being into your car and being able to change it as the seasons change. Besides, I enjoy the change in my ride now and then.
Anybody else going to change things around for winter?
Tom
