i was thinkin' of replacing my m a x i m a embelems with the same style letters saying d a t s u n. what you guys think?
just an idea i have.

since its in the states a Nissan. But It would be like having personalized license plates, your own and who gives a whoot.

 

I've thought about completely eliminating my cars badging and calling it the G car; g for generic; I'm the type to immediately remove all dealer badging upon purchase. no dealer's getting free advertising from me, they are all pretty much self serving and i've never been so impressed with the sales or service techniques from a dealer to make me want to give them free advertising. There's also a badge that reads " Special Edition " which ford puts on some of their cars which looks and sounds cool to me.

 

dmb: cuz its different, when the last time you saw a datsun maxima? when was the last time u saw a datsun? everyday right?..cuz you own one.

max: i dont think its degrading, nissan was datsun. my friends will with acuras say they drive a honda integra. and guys i know with lexuses, say they have a toyota altezza.

its just something im thinking about. i rather have d a t s u n than GTR or a shaved back end.

Datsun is no longer around. Sure it would catch attention, but people would be like what the heck, ?Datsun?. Get something original. Think of something to put there.

heh unfortunitly for your friends with the lexus's theres a big difference between the toyota altezza and the lexus is300, they shouldnt be calling thier IS an Altezza

Yes I know it was once Datsun, I guess cause to me Datsun sounds blec , but I was thinking about it and itd be original, something different. So go for it.

 

If you have the time and supplies, I say go for it. Hey, it'll be something different. If you dont like it, then you can take it off. How bout an INFINITI emblem?

leaving the maxima but changing the nissan for infiniti... sounds a little unique, not too noticeable and still cool - maybe I'll try it. would the best place to get that be a junkyard??
