another completed B&G/AGX install...pics

i finished my B&G/AGX install last week...weather finally cleared up so i could take some pictures. figured it would be good reference for others considering this setup.

the ride is very nice...not rough at all when the AGX's are set at 2-4. and handles like a car on rails at 4-8. i also did the assembly isolator gaskets, radio shack wire wrap and KYB dust boots. no noise to speak of.

let me know what you guys think.

How low does it take your car when settled, it looks close to Sprints. How much for the whole setup, if you dont mind. I can live with that stance..

i am not sure if the springs are totally settled..i have had them on for a week...but there is a 2" gap all the way around (3 fingers). me and ericdwong were comparing the rear yesterday and his rear 1 coil cut sprints are exactly the same as my rear B&G. his front is lower though.

i got the srpings from www.shox.com at $187 shipped with the .org discount. ($157 before shipping). and i got the AGX's w/boots from www.cattman.com for $455 shipped. spiral wrap = $2, gasket material = $5...total was around $650. rides like a champ though. i think the money was well spent to do it right.

--yeah the wheels are silver...were you thinking they were white? some others have mentioned that to me. they are the '00 SE 16" wheels. i wax them and they are clean i guess they can be mistaken for white.

Looks good. When I need an alignment again I may try the spiral wrap since I have noise from the front end. I find that for the nicest ride 1/2 works the best, but I usually run 2/2 so the front end feels moderately firm. In any case if you think it's too firm try dialing down the rears.

they all turn grey. mine was blue when i bought it, but the blue faded. its sprayed with blue oil and when that goes so does the blue appearance. when you clean your fliter using K&N's kit...it will be red because the oil spray has red dye in it so you can see the areas you have sprayed.

Hey did u cut the bumpstops on your suspension at all?

I have the exact same setup as you, wire wrap and all, and mine still makes noises over bumps

you have to cut the stops if you don't use the AGX boots...this may be where the noise is coming from; the shocks have no room.

Glad to see another B&G/AGXer is happy! Looks hot!
