Lower Control Arm Problem
I took the car to nissan and they told me that i need a new lower control arm cause the one i have is broken.
Now i drive the car everday and i don't think i would be able to drive it and hit 130 in it if it was broken.
What's up with that, Is it broken or just in need of bushings and if so they wanna charge me 640 for two new ones, there's gotta be a better way to get them cheaper... Any ideas???

err
what's the mileage on your max?
If bushings rot off and you drive around, the control arms can get damaged.
but usually it's the bushings only. In that case, ditch rubber and get polyurethane ones from energy suspension. Ride quality is not superior to rubber ones, but they last way longer than rubber.

Control Arm
MaxEffect414, Is your tire bending out away from the car or is it leaning in, in some sort of a way. I hit a curb so when my control arm went out, the tire was bending out away from the car, and the tire wasnt centered in the wheel well. Just my 2 cents. Hope it helps.

I will check it out and where did you go to get it for 130 plus labor just in case, Thanks.....
