Place Racing Cold Air Intake Installation?

i looked at the whole write up for the installation and i was just curious to how hard it really is. So for all the place racing cold air intake people out there, i need your opinion on how hard the installation was before i buy it. Thanx

it is a 2 out of 5.. the only reason it is a 2 is, you have to cut a hole in your fender well.

if you can follow directions and take your time.. you will be fine

It isn't that bad. The hardest part (for me) was figuring out exactly where the cutting template was supposed to go

Wasnt hard at all but to me the hard part was getting everything to fit the way I wanted it and to also make things neat and clean so that took some time. I also cut my hole about a quarter inch off so I had to grind off some extra metal with a dremel but it was easy.

man, the hardest part with CAI is taking the old stuff off and fitment issues. If you have a strong enough drill, cutting the hole is a piece of cake, like a 20 second job. Putting the CAI together is not only easy but its fun. Making it all fit well may be a little female dog but if you are a noob with intakes like i am, the hardest part is taking all the old stuff off which isn't that bad either

...just like most have said, the fitment a hole drilling was the hardest part. My friend and I did it in about 4 hours one night, it should go faster, but it was the first time I've done it. As for the sound, there is no comparison. It's %^$#ing sweet. After you gun it the first time, the smile will never leave your face! Get it!
