Does anyone know where I can find instructions for this? Will a maintenance manual (Chilton, Hayes etc) have this?

2 tabs in front of the seat.

each tab is a little ring. Pull it and that side unatches. once both latches are undone, pull out the seat bottom. Then there are 2 bolts at the bottom of the seat back. Remove those, and lift up the seat back.

Re: 2 tabs in front of the seat.

Does anyone know who makes leather seat covers for the Max and how much it would cost?

Thx.

Talk to a local upolstery shop....

I know Katskin does,as well as a company called Classic does as well. I got quoted a price for the Classic of about $1300. I called a couple other places and I was quoted about the same price for Katskin.

If you are in Vegas I know a place called Leather Ambitions that will do a complete leather install, with perforated holes like the european look for $800. I have been considering this for a while and have seen their tweed work, which is 100% kick *** in all the hot rodders who bring in their 60 and 70s cars, but have not seen their leather install.
