hi all. i'm new to this board. from what i've read, you all sound very nice and like you know what you're talking about. i'm from easton MA, about 20 mins south of boston. i'm on the lookout for a maxima and i came across this one in the want ads. here's the ad:

96 NISSAN MAXIMA GXE 5-speed. Dark green on tan interior. Bose stereo, power windows, locks, power steering. heated seats. tinted windows. Stillen intake. Hi-perofmance muffler. New rear brakes, shocks, and exhaust piping. Good condition & runs great. Bought new car. $5600/best offer.

I just need to find out how many miles are on it (probably around 100k) and I also want to find out about the "hi performance muffler" on it. I'm going to be putting a GReddy exhaust on it i believe anyways. How's the Stillen intake? I'm also going to be putting on a new Y-pipe as well. How's this sound? it's in the price range i'm looking for. thanks.

 

Assuming 100k and clean condition, Edmunds.com = $5,907

 

Id expect to pay around 6k.

whereabouts in easton? i'm right across from frothingham park on sheridan street. i was checking the kelly blue book values and it says it should be in the $5700 range (assuming it has 100k on it.) we'll have to see how much it really has.

 

sounds like a decent enough deal to me, not high at all so not bad. definately jump on it because i don't see many 5-speeds around that area. i'm from mansfield. pm me if you ever want to meet up.
