heated seats

heated seats

i need to know about the heated seats. i have a 98 SE with leather seats without the heated seats option. the question is,, is the seat itself have a coil in it or do u have to buy a new lower half of the seat??

any responce would be nice. thanks alot..

You can buy heated seat inserts and put them in yourself. You don't need to buy a new lower half of the seat.

my heated seats also seem to include the lower part of the back as it heats up very warm also.

I to have a 98 se Max here in Canada.

You can purchase a kit to hook up leather seats from www.leatherseats.com it should include everything
i know this can be done with aftermarket leather if you buy it from them, but in theory it is supposed to work with stock seats since you only buy the leather seat covers there. I think it's like a 100$ to do this

or..
SprintMax or someone else mentioned before that you can just buy used stock leather seat mechanism or assemblies, whatever it is... it's like 40$ from a junkyard,

Damn, if it's only $40 to have headted seats, then it's well worth!! Someone let me know if this is true...
