Steering wheel controls?

Steering wheel controls?

On the right side of my 97 are the cruise controls, but on the left side there is a panel that looks as if something can plugged into it. Could those be radio controls? Do the I-30's have radio controls on the steering wheel? That would be sweet if I could plug some in.

I have the pioneer 7300dvd and it comes with the steering wheel remote control. I installed that in the place you were talkin about :-D

I thought maybe somehting that Nissan (or Infiniti) made could go there for a perfect and OE fit.

What about the audio controlls off of a newer Maxima's steering wheel? Probably wouldn't fit, much less be compatible with the older Bose system, though...
