no interior lights work...help!
None of my interior lights work....the map lights, dome, step/door lights, and trunk lights. The rest of them do...like the window switches and everything attached to the dimmer switch. Anyone know what the problem could be?

you can try looking at it while holding it up to a light and see if the little link cable is ripped.... but, an easier way would be to take another fuse with the same amp rating or # or whatever it is called (7.5, 10, etc..) and just put it in the same slot as the fuse you are trying to test.. if there is no result, then it is likely the fuse is working and it's not that, but if lights go on, it is the fuse, go to pepboys and buy them for like 2$ and replace it..

u cna do that.....or to make ur life a lil easier u cna buy a cheap test light...... touch each fuuse and if its a good fuse then a lgiht will show up on the test light......no light means u ahve a bad fuse.....this way i dont need to pull every fuse out......

i m having a problem some what like this except the only light that doesnt work on my car i the drivers side door panel light checked fuses and connecter to see if it was broken but no luck also tried putting in new light also didnt work. oh well
I have the exact problem on my 97 Maxima. I pulled out the fuse one by one and looked at them and they all looked OK. Someone mentioned to buy a tester and check the fuse while its in the socket. Not sure how to do this since these are the flat type fuses and the only part of the fuse that is exposed is the plastic cover. Are you saying that if I touch the plastic part and if the fuse is good the light on the tester will come on?

There are exposed metal contacts on the outside of the fuse you can use a multimeter on.
